Every now and then I daydream about things I would love to have/do. I don't always get what I want.

This time I did.

I just accepted an awesome job! I'm going to start working at the central library downtown!!!!

from Apple to Microsoft

I've had an ipod for years but since it broke, I have had to move on and find another mp3 player. So I chose the Zune.

It has everything that an ipod has. Plus, it has a radio. It has wireless capabilities. And it's non-pretentious. Then why am I so sad?

Ipods have a neat looking and functioning program called Itunes. Zunes have this crappy java looking program called.. it doesn't even has a cool name. ARGH!

We'll see how this pans out in the long-term.

the new job search

It seems that every time I have to start the search for the new job, I get super anxious. I get in crazy Frank mode. It's not remotely cute. So to my surprise, I'm shocked that this time around I'm actually excited and happy about the whole thing.

I guess it can be because I'm finally out of a job that I really hated. I didn't even realize how much I hated it till I was out of it. Wow. Huge weight off my shoulders.

Another thing is that I probably had the BEST summer in my life. I quit Borders, then on a whim, I go to camp with Devon. It not only made me feel good about myself, but it made me realize that I can do a whole lot more for the world that what I was doing previously. I can make a difference in someone's life. I can be important and be proud of it. I really hope I can make out there again next summer. Perhaps for a week or two at least.

I think the last reason why I'm so optimistic is that I'm putting my foot down and actually applying for jobs that I like and taking my time with it. Doing everything right. I don't apply for the job I know I'm gonna hate.

I'm a little bit older this time and a little bit smarter, I suppose.

Watching my girl, Amy Winehouse win 5 Grammys the other day put me in a mood. She wasn't even allowed to go to the US to accept her winnings in person. Meanwhile all these other triffling hoes show up at the Grammys. Let's take a closer look at the red carpeters.

First of all we have Alicia Keys. I guess she did win something, so I can't say too much about her.


Next up we have the Beyonce. Not showing her armpits for once. You know her mom made her dress, right? sighs. I only have one problem. Just because you have a song about it doesn't mean you have to style everything you wear "to the left." bitch.
