round 2

I'm starting my second round of meds for my strep throat. Oh man, this stuff just doesn't wanna go away! ugh. At least it's not really bothering me much. Not like the first time. It's just there and swells up every now and then. No ear pains. That was hell!

So I learned something from all this. Natural Citrus flavored Listerine = Absolut Marderin Vodka. So I'm gargling that four times a day. ugh. stupid bacteria. I hate you.

Anyways, Emily is going to South Padre for a week. :(

The world works in mysterious ways. OMG, reminds me! Britney Spears has a new song and video out. Someday. It totally creeps me out! Britney is all like "I having my baby... [piano crap]... ohhh, baby."

Downward Spiral

ugh.

I feel like crap lately. I'm just un-everything. sighs. What gives?! Nothing is cheering me up for more than a few minutes afterwards. ugh. I do have some good friends and a girlfriend that want to bring my spirits up but... ugh.

So the other day, I was bored and I watched The Stepford Wives!! It's that bad. Somehow, seeing Christopher Walkin's head get bashed off was the only quick fix for me. ugh. But I did have a fun time at Sulphur Springs last weekend with Emily. My strep throat started to flare up again. ugh. I watched that Traveling Pants movie and halfway in the middle of it Emily's mom answered her cell phone. So insane. and then we rented Elecktra... ugh. Poor, poor Jennifer Garner. Well, at least watching The Longest Yard on Tuesday was mildly entertaining. I'm still traumatized by Courtney Cox's boobie dress. ugh. Why does Monica Gellar have to be a super slut.

Speaking of super sluts. I was looking at my favorite website, Go Fug Yourself and what the hell happened to Charlotte Church?! She's now a 50 year old Las Vegas hooker. ugh.

I'm going insane. The only thing that is getting me through this week is the possibility of either a party OR some cool dairy festival. So many options this weekend. We'll see how it goes. ugh.

I'm still pessimistic though. (PS- I'll give the person who correctly counts how many times I said 'ugh' in this post a snowcone!)

congrats to Frank

ugh.

It's almost been a week since I've had a coke! I'm losing it.
BUT...who saw that new show on the WB, Beauty and the Geek?! Wow. Just when we thought Ashton Kutcher was going away for a while... he's back and making shows. This show can be described in one word: Awkward! OMG. So there are 5 geeks and 5 beauties that are coupled together so they can suck up eachothers intelligence and social skills. There's only been the premiere episode, but I'm already dying from it.
The theme for the competition this week was 5th grade. The geeks/beauties were asked 5th grade questions! One girl couldn't spell "tattoo." Another girl didn't know 3 states that started with "New." Not that the geeks were any better. One geek didn't know that Vogue was a magazine AND a Madonna song. How is this knowledge considered 'social skills' material? They did make the geeks dance though. I suppose that's in the realm.
But naturally among the geeks/beauties there is this cute guy who doesn't look like a nerd at all! Just because he's in Mensa. And he's already sparked up a romance with one of the beauties. Stupid WB. Then there's this girl who got all the 5th grade questions right... and the reason she's on the show is that she the 'sorority girl.' Doesn't that mean that she's IN college? Don't you have to have at least a high school diloma or equivilence to get into college?! No wonder she answered the questions correctly. It's an unfair advantage, but her geek is like the geekiest one there.... so I'll let it slide.
